The entire system weighs 375 lbs — significantly less than most competitor systems which weigh 750+ lbs. The hinging base design allows you to tilt the pole for easy setup without special equipment.
We recommend pouring a concrete pad of at least 45' x 30' for a full three-point line with room to shoot around it. The crank handle extends just 8" from the base pole — far less space-consuming than parallel linkage systems.
Limited Lifetime Warranty — We are so confident in our product that we upgraded from a 10-year warranty to a lifetime warranty. The aluminum won't corrode, and neither will the stainless steel hardware.
Every detail of the Dominator Basketball Hoop is meticulously engineered for the highest quality — the welds, the materials, and the engineering have all been chosen to ensure this is the highest-quality hoop on the market.
Will this hoop rust?
No. Aluminum has no iron in it, meaning it cannot bond with oxygen to form rust. The stainless steel hardware is also rust-free.
How low does the hoop go?
The hoop lowers to 7 feet — the minimum per ASTM safety standards. This is low enough for young children while remaining safe.
Is glass more prone to break than acrylic?
No. Both are equally likely to break — glass shatters while acrylic cracks. Either way, the backboard becomes unusable once broken.
Can I install if concrete is already poured?
Yes. The easiest option is to install the hoop directly adjacent to existing concrete. You can also use a jackhammer to break through, though this is discouraged.
What are recommended court dimensions?
We recommend at least a 45' x 30' pad for a full three-point line. Plan your court →
Regulation-size backboard with pro-level bounce. The ½" glass thickness used in competitive arenas ensures consistent rebounding and shot accuracy.
Maximum safe playing space under the rim for layups, dunks, and rebounds — reduces risk of collisions with the pole.
Oversized and ultra-stable. Greater rigidity means less shake during aggressive play like dunking. Same material used in automotive, aircraft, and watercraft.
Just 7 cranks to go from 7 to 10 feet. Adjusts straight up and down — the distance from the rim to the free throw line never changes, no matter the height.
The same aluminum alloy used in automotive, aircraft, and watercraft industries. Won't corrode in coastal, humid, or any outdoor environments. All hardware is stainless steel.
Main Post, Overhang Arm, Backboard, Rim. Two adults can install in 45 minutes. Only 375 lbs total — competitors weigh 750+ lbs. Hinging base design for easy setup.
Matches full NBA specifications, making it the gold standard for home courts and training facilities. The only 72" hoop you'll ever need.
Backed by long-term protection for performance and structural integrity. Upgraded from a 10-year warranty to lifetime because we're that confident in the build.
We've had this hoop for two years now in Utah weather — hot summers, freezing winters — and it looks absolutely brand new. Zero rust, zero wobble. The glass backboard is incredible. Our kids play on it every single day.
I've played on a lot of hoops and this one genuinely feels like playing in an arena. The rebound off the glass is perfect, the pole doesn't shake when you dunk, and the height adjustment is effortless. Worth every penny.
My husband and I installed the whole thing ourselves in about 50 minutes. The instructions were clear and there were only 4 real pieces. If you're on the fence about the 72" vs the 60" — get the 72". You won't regret it.
